What is  remote.exe

Remote Desktop Connection is an alternative filename of remote.exe. The remote.exe process has the capability to access all data backups, applications, documents, and network resources of other users that are also using remote.exe process through the use of networking systems like Workgroup connection of one's network, LAN (Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), or WAN (Wide Area Network) without configuring a Virtual Private Network (VPN). In order to transfer and retrieve data with other programs over the Remote Desktop Connection or remote.exe file, the user should use the ISP (Internet Service Provider) connection, the PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol Over Ethernet), and the DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) to share a network connection. This process runs with the following editions of Microsoft Windows operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 bit; Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Standard Edition (32-bit x86); and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 Edition.
