What is  srsvc.dll

The srsvc.dll file is a process that supports the sharing of named-pipe, print, and files via network. It is part of Microsoft’s Server Service Dynamic Linked Library (DLL) and is installed alongside Windows. This system file runs under the Service Host (svchost) process. It is a required startup service, so that programs will function properly or benefit from its functions. When deleted or corrupted, dependent functions will not be able to run and it appears as the srsvc.dll error. This 32-bit DLL does not have an immediate graphic user interface. A portable executable file, it was likely written on Microsoft Visual C++ and it thus requires a C++ library. It was developed by Microsoft Corporation for the Microsoft Windows Operating System. It is typically located in C:\Program Files\, C:\Program Files\Common Files\, C:\Windows"\, and C:\WINDOWS\system32. This service is launched by sychost.exe through the command C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe-k netsvcs.
