The process contains a public API allowing external consumers to retrieve and aggregate security health state of the system programmatically. With this process, Independent software vendors is provided with COM APIs which can help in recording and registering the state of their products to the Security Center service wherein services like notification alerts and graphical view of the security health sates in the AC control panel is provided. This file is located in C:\windows\System32\wscsvc.dll and runs with Microsoft Windows XP (5.1.2600.196608) with a file size of 80,896 bytes on Windows 7 or Windows XP.
