What is  raspptp.sys

The file with the process name of Peer-to-Peer Tunneling Protocol, and an executable extensions of raspptp.sys, is part of the software for Windows operating systems. This is a Windows system driver which means that it is an important file that is part of your OS, and as such, it has to be allowed to run and execute its tasks in the way that it should. The file enables users to connect to their P2P network, whether from home to school, or home to office. Usually, what users encountered with the file is what is known as BSOD or Blue Screen of Death. This was found to generally occur when Windows has not been updated or upgraded. Doing either one: update or upgrade, usually solved the BSOD issue. The driver file is located in the Drivers folder of Windows, saved in the following way: C:\Windows\System 32\Drivers\raspptp.sys. The file has not been connected to any type of spyware, Trojan or virus.
