While requiring low amount of hard drive space, xpob2res.dll sustains the machine functionality when running large data applications, is included in the Win XP installation package, is engineered to handle the script or OOB (out-of-box) messaging functions of the computer machine, and is an essential component in the Object Linking and Embedding protocol (OLE) of the Microsoft systems. The success of the xpob2res.dll resulted to succeeding versions of OS packages which included the file. XPob2res.dll is 264 kilobytes in file size and can be located in C:/WINDOWS/ServicePackFiles/i386/xpob2res.dll.
