What is  wkscal.exe

Wkscal.exe is a process file that is installed with your Windows OS, known as Microsoft Works Calendar. The file functions much like your usual appointment book, where you can mark the calendar for events, special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, client meeting, doctor’s appointments, bill payment schedules, PTAs, and any other event or task that you need to be reminded of. In a word, it is your desktop scheduler, so you can keep track of things that you need to do, and appointments that you have to make. This is not a core system process, and being such, users can either allow it to run, or disable it. Users who have no need for the calendar, disable it, and find nothing amiss with system performance. The file can be found in a folder in Common Files, saved as the following command: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Works Shared\ wkscal.exe. Average file size is 131,127 bytes.
