To speed up the Personal Computer, oodag.exe is an executable file from O&O Defrag which is a utility for Microsoft Windows operating system and used for defragmenting the Hard Drive. This software can be found in Drive c:\Window\System32\ and the known size is 225,280 bytes for both Window Xp and Window 7. Oodag.exe is not a Windows core file and is not a visible program. This program is responsible for sending and listening data on the open port and distributes it to the LAN or the INTERNET. The user can easily remove the program by navigating to control panel Add\Remove programs applet. This program is a Verisign sign file and this means that Microsoft Corporation has marked this program as a trusted program from a trusted company. The latest file version is 10.0.163, which the user should install as this is equipped with the latest patches and fixes. This process may be considered useful in making the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) well defragmented.
