What is  find.exe

The file find.exe appears to be associated with a number of services. One of these is Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. Users utilize the find.exe file in the command window to look for specific files stored within the system’s drives. The Windows find.exe file is stored in the System 32 folder. Most other processes or services linked with the find.exe file are deemed as undesirable, both by users and threat checkers online. Based on reports made by users who encountered the undesirable file, the find.exe file was associated with a number of different viruses, usually passed onto the system through the Internet, especially through Instant Messaging services. The undesirable file was hard to detect because it was also saved in the same folder as the one where the valid file is stored. The invalid file also launches upon startup, and then causes system errors, PC hangs, error messages popping-up simultaneously, and corruption of valid files.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. find.exe. is used by Microsoft Windows, If you shut down find.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop find.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Microsoft Windows, from your system.
