File Replication Service is a system file that is launched when the ntfrs.exe file is executed. This is a Windows Server service that is included in the software that installs your Windows Operating System. File image location on disk is C:\Windows\System 32\ntfrs.exe. Although the file has not been found to be a threat to system health, it has been found to cause memory leaks, consuming more than fifty percent of memory, especially on highly active domain controllers.
