The file debug.exe is associated with Microsoft Windows, as its debugging application; and to another process called PE Explorer, which is from a software program licensed by Heaventools Software. The first debug.exe is a tool installed in older versions of Windows Operating Systems. The file basically allows users to look at the “internals” of files in case the user wants to alter or modify a file. The application is also used to make the computer do specific tasks, by way of inputting assembly codes. Lastly, users get to see how the files are executed, whether normally as they were meant to run, or altered in some way without the user’s knowledge. The debug.exe file however, is only compatible with the 32-bit Windows platform. The other application that the file is associated to, which is the PE Explorer, works in pretty much the same way as the one that is installed by Windows. You get to see and edit executable files that are installed in the system. You also get to analyze executable files before you install them. This allows you to see whether or not the file is valid and safe, and whether you need it or not. This also works in 32-bit platforms only.
