What is  eexplorer.exe

The file eexplorer.exe is identified as a variant of a Spybot worm and is considered a security risk by antivirus programs. Spybot worms belong to a large family of computer worms with varying characteristics. Variants of this worm have shown characteristics that include the ability to spread from the P2P program KaZaA, common backdoor Trojans, and systems with weak administrative passwords. When Win32.Spybot worm is executed, it copies itself to the configured path as file names that are designed to trick the users into downloading and executing the worm. It can perform Denial of Service attacks on specified servers and may end security application processes. Spybot worm connects to the IRC channel and allows full access to the infected system. Hackers can use this backdoor facility to enter the system and steal sensitive data. The Spybot is also known as Backdoor.Sdbot.gen, Backdoor.Rbot.gen, IRC/Backdoor.SdBot, WORM_SDBOT, and Worm.P2P.Spybot.gen.
