What is  dfrgsnapnt.exe

The file dfrgsnapnt.exe is associated with fraudulent security program, malicious software, or malware dropper that should be immediately removed from the computer. This process is packed and encrypted using a software packing process, and adds as a Registry auto start that loads the program during boot-up process. This virus is able to add a registry key for "RUN", which automatically starts other programs and applications during startup of the computer. It has been observed to delete or create other processes from the hard disk, execute processes stored in temporary folders, and perform process hijacking. It can inject code into other processes that results to corruption of file or denial of service, register a Dynamic Link Library file, or hook the WININET. DLL function and allowing it to read or copy Http or Https Web page content and session information. This process hides itself behind other filenames like setup (1).exe, pragmaad.exe, tmp24610.exe, ns13.tmp, or topwesitjh. Computers infected with this virus are subjected to longer than usual start-up, with some instances leading to computer crash.
