LSASS stands for Local Security Authority Subsystem Service and this process file is responsible in maintaining security in the computer system. Other websites claims that microsoft.exe is either associated with the software Projek1 or software Injector or software Windows Updater. The EXE file is either developed by Microsoft or by Stap. The microsoft.exe process runs in the foreground of the computer system upon startup. It is installed in the system along with its associated program. Once the associated program becomes active, microsoft.exe can start the features of the program to function. The EXE file allows the user to enjoy the benefits which the program provides. Terminating microsoft.exe will discontinue the functionalities of the program that are running.
