What is  schost.exe

The schost.exe process is a generic host process name that is made for services that run from DLLs (dynamic-link libraries). The process checks the services part of the computer registry in order to create a list of services that should be loaded. There can be a multiplicity of the svchost.exe process that can run at the same time. The process can contain a grouping of services. It enables the grouping of services for easier debugging and better control. The process is considered to be safe by the user and does not present any potential threats to the user’s computer system.
