If you have installed the driver for your HP Printer and still unable to perform the print, then you can follow the below fixes in order to make your printer work:
Fix 1: Discovering an Outdated Printer Driver
Open the Windows 'Devices and Printers' panel by clicking the Start button.
Type devices and printers in the search box, and pressing Enter.
A list of all available printers on the system will appear.
If your printer has a yellow exclamation-point icon on it, or if it does not appear at all, downloading new drivers is necessary.
Fix 2: Updating an Outdated Printer Driver
To update the printer drivers, first confirm the model of your printer.
You can usually find the name or number on the printer itself, or in the 'Devices and Printers' panel that you opened earlier.
Go to your printer manufacturer's Website; In your case, we're going to HP.com.
Click Support & Drivers, select the Download drivers and software (and firmware) button, and type the name and number of your printer into the search bar. Click the Go button.
In the next section, select your operating system version to get the latest correct driver.
Once you have chosen the operating system, click to download the driver under the 'Driver' heading.
After you have downloaded the driver, run the installer to complete the setup. A reboot may be required in some cases, but afterward your printer will have the latest driver version that its manufacturer offers.
Fix 3: Troubleshoot connected printer Look in the window for your printer — it might be listed under Printers or Unspecified, If it’s there, right-click it and choose Troubleshoot from the menu that appears. Follow the on-screen instructions for troubleshooting the printer.
If Windows 8 troubleshooting doesn’t work, or if Windows 10 hasn’t detected your printer, the next step is to check whether or not it’s been installed.
Click Start and go to Settings - Devices - Printers & scanners.
If you don’t see your printer listed in the main window, click the Add a printer or scanner option and wait while Windows tries to detect your printer — make sure it’s connected to your PC and switched on.
I hope this helps in setting up your printer in Windows 8.
When I connect an external microphone to the jack, it is not working. I can see it in the "Sound" tab, but the levels is very low. I have tried with several microphones.
I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
