What is  aklog.exe

An aklog.exe file is an executable file normally seen located on the computer’s C:\Program Files subfolder with file size of 24,064 bytes on both the Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems. This file has the ability to control or change the performance of other programs running on the computer making it 84% dangerous at a security rating level. When found to be on C:\Documents and Settings subfolder instead of the usual C:\Program Files subfolder, security rating is lowered to 82% dangerous. This file can also compromise a user’s computer because of its ability to monitor and scan what other programs on the computer are doing. It can record keyboard inputs and when found on a subfolder of the “My Files” folder, it can be 100% dangerous. In this instance, the process has to be uninstalled to avoid further damage to the system.

How can I stop aklog.exe and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aklog.exe. is used by N/A, If you shut down aklog.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aklog.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is N/A, from your system.
