What is  srvany.exe

The srvany.exe process is an executable file and it is an essential component of the computer system. It runs within the background of the KMService (Windows service), as well as running as a SYSTEM account. This file contains vast privileges on a user’s local computer, which then acts as the PC on the network. This process is considered to be especially useful for the computer system as it is uses a command-line tool (the ip_relay.exe process) that enables the relays of ports (IP/Port) to one another. The srvany.exe process is one of the two tools that are essential in order to enable installation of a standard executable as a service, the INSTSRV and the SRVANY. These processes are available in the Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit. This executable file will run a user’s executable to act as a service. This file can be executed directly; however, there is the potential that it may cause some errors, depending on the process itself.
