The file gebyw.dll appears to be process that relates to the Trojan Vundo family. This Trojan is known to be distributed through spam email, peer-to-peer file sharing, drive-by downloads, and other malware such as the mass mailing worms Ackantta.B@mm and Ackantta.C.@mm. Also known as VirtuMonde, this Trojan horse typically arrives by spam email attachment that is opened by the user, or by a drive-by download that installs the malware by exploiting a browser vulnerability. The DLL file gebyw.dll loads as a browser helper object (BHO) that starts when the user starts the Internet browser. This BHO is not stopped by the firewall because it is identified by the firewall as the browser itself. Trojan Vundo displays intrusive popups that include advertisements for fraudulent or misleading applications such as rogue antispyware programs. It negatively affects Web searches, causing many websites to be inaccessible and some Google search links may be redirected to rogue antispyware sites.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gebyw.dll. is used by Trojan Vundo, If you shut down gebyw.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gebyw.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan Vundo, from your system.
