The indt2.sys file is included in the program files and modules that are required by the Internet Explorer Web browser application to properly function and perform its intended operations as requested by the user. Upon initialization, the content stored in the indt2.sys file is referenced by other program files, program-specific modules and modular system resources in order for the Internet Explorer software to implement the set of functionalities requested by the system or the user. This means when a user or the system requests access to certain features of the Internet Explorer Web browser program that correspond to the source code contained in the indt2.sys file and associated program files or modules, the indt2.sys file is initialized and referenced by the Internet Explorer software. The content of the indt2.sys file is encoded with program logic specifications that are normally implemented into source code stored in the SYS file format.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. indt2.sys. is used by Internet Explorer, If you shut down indt2.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop indt2.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Internet Explorer, from your system.
