Norton Ghost 10.X Configuration Wizard, also referred to as Norton Internet Security Suite Configuration Wizard, or Norton AntiVirus Configuration Wizard, also Symantec Internal Component, or Microsoft FrontPage Server Administration Snapin, is the service name of the file cfgwiz.exe, and is a part of the program Norton AntiVirus, or Symantec Shared Components, or Norton SystemWorks versions 2005 Premier, 2006 Premier, and 2006 Basic, or Norton Ghost 10.X, or Microsoft FrontPage version 2000, which is created by Symantec or Microsoft Corporation. This file is recommended to remain stored and running as a background process of the system, which means it must not be removed or stopped, unless it is causing problems that affect the performance of the OS. Furthermore, cfgwiz.exe is not just an executable file, but digitally signed process by Microsoft Windows Component Publisher - Microsoft Time Stamping Service., which makes it more essential to remain running on the Windows operating system computer.
