The MS Media Player 10 forms the wdfmgr.exe process, which operates by reducing the compatibility problems of running applications and can be found in the task manager of the Media Player 10 setup. This process enables compatibility for the WDF (Windows Driver Foundation) for the user’s PC system. Developed by Microsoft, Windows Driver Foundation is a technology that enhances the overall consistency and stability of device drivers for Windows and is a central part of the Windows OS, so it is advisable to keep the process running. The wdfmgr.exe file is used by Windows Media Player 10 in order to enable the user’s computer to receive song information that the user already have in his library. It also helps with the increased compatibility of the Media Player 10 with other drivers and devices that interacts with it such as WinAmp and Nero. This EXE file is incorporated by Microsoft Media Player 10 to aid the user with the driver and its format compatibility.
