The words.exe process is an executable program file included with other EXE application processes, certain DLL modules, some SYS driver files, certain background process items and various associated resource components that are required by the Words software. This is a Windows program classified as a dictionary application that was developed with a set of features that can allow users to find Latin words and phrases and determine its definitions or meanings by implementing the Latin-to-English translation feature of this software. The words.exe process is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of the Words software, which also means the words.exe file is integrated into the installer distribution packages of the Words program. The words.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the Words software, which means users can load the Words software unto the system and implement its functionalities by activating the words.exe process.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. words.exe. is used by Words Latin-English Dictionary, If you shut down words.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop words.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Words Latin-English Dictionary, from your system.
