Known by the service name ToasterLauncher, the toasterlauncher.exe process is a type of an executable or EXE file, which is a part of the program Dell DataSafe Local Backup, also called as ToasterLauncher, which is developed by Dell or SoftThinks. This particular file is downloaded onto the computer when the program that houses it is installed, and it begins to store itself on a file folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, but sometimes in C:\Windows or C:\Documents and Settings, registers into the Windows registry with its own registry keys and execution command, and starts to run in the background. Like other modules, toasterlauncher.exe is compatible with most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also commonly known as Windows operating system or OS, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. This file is not recommended to terminate or disable, unless it is causing problems or errors that affect the performance of the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. toasterlauncher.exe. is used by Dell DataSafe Local Backup or ToasterLauncher, If you shut down toasterlauncher.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop toasterlauncher.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Dell DataSafe Local Backup or ToasterLauncher, from your system.
