The nclauncher.exe is an executable file in the application Network Connect Launcher (NC Launcher) from Juniper Network, Inc. that launches the application Network Connect. It is a client-side command-line utility that can be bundled with other applications that need an operational Network Connect client to ensure that an end-user can easily access these applications. NC Launcher allows a user to initiate a Network Connect (NC) session with a batch file, a script, or a call from an application without using a graphical user interface (GUI). The launched application Network Connect (NC) is a clientless VPN (virtual private network) that serves as an additional remote access mechanism to corporate resources using an IVE (instant virtual extranet) appliance. If Network Connect is launched through the stand-alone application on Windows, the application handles certificate verification, but if it is launched through a browser, the bowser takes care of the verification.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nclauncher.exe. is used by NC Launcher, If you shut down nclauncher.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nclauncher.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NC Launcher, from your system.
