the lxcjcoms.exe process is integrated into the Printer Communication System module and is placed in the Windows-based computer upon the installation of system drivers that are bundled with certain printer devices. The Printer Communication System module is an applet that is built into the firmware utilities and driver software resources of certain Lexmark printer models, and this module is responsible for implementing communication protocols that are used by the system to communicate with the associated firmware components and driver software resources of the Lexmark printer, networked computers and the supported Lexmark printing device. Upon the activation of the lxcjcoms.exe process by the system or by an associated Lexmark printer driver software component or firmware resource item, the lxcjcoms.exe process references certain system and application-specific modular DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files and some SYS driver utilities, and also calls on various EXE application components, background and system process items among other resource files and libraries, in order to implement the required functionalities embedded in the Printer Communication System module into the Windows-based system.
