The process keepass.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the software product labeled as KeePass Password Safe (version 1.11, 1.14, 1.07, 1.19b) or KeePass 2 Password Management Program, which is developed by Dominik Reichl. The program that houses the keepass.exe file is a security application, which allows a computer user to register and secure data with a password. That being said, the keepass.exe file is an essential component of the software, making it more vital to remain running in the background. In addition, the keepass.exe file is a Windows module, which means it works in most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also known as Windows operating systems, or Windows OS, which include new versions, like Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. keepass.exe. is used by KeePass Password Safe or KeePass 2 Password Management Program, If you shut down keepass.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop keepass.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is KeePass Password Safe or KeePass 2 Password Management Program, from your system.
