It can monitor the Internet browser. It does not use a visible window. This dynamic link library [DLL] file is a BHO or browser helper object that automatically executes when you launch the Internet browser. Personal firewalls often do not block the activities of BHOs because the firewall detects the BHO as the browser itself. This is one reason why malware such as adware and spyware often use BHOs. A Trojan is a type of malware that is not self-replicating. It may seem to perform a desirable action but it actually drops a malicious payload usually through a backdoor that allows unauthorized access to target system. This backdoor is not visible to the average user. Trojans can access the target computer through drive-by downloads or installation of applications coming from the Internet such as online games and music.
