The gamerosd.exe file is bundled with the ASUS Gamer OSD software, which is an application that was developed by ASUSTek Computer. The ASUS Gamer OSD software is an applet that is built into supported ASUS laptops, desktops, devices and ahrdware components, and this program is integrated with a set of features that can allow users to configure the settings of their video cards, graphical displays and other visual effects which can enhance their video gaming experience. The gamerosd.exe process is an executable file that contains source code comprised of application-specific directives, program-specific module instructions, modular system resource references and sequential command lines. The content of the gamerosd.exe file is encoded with program logic compilation specifications and data storage standards that are normally integrated into data stored in the EXE file format.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gamerosd.exe. is used by ASUS Gamer OSD, If you shut down gamerosd.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop gamerosd.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ASUS Gamer OSD, from your system.
