The file evfwlx40.exe relates to IBM software Code400, which is part of the WebSphere Development Toolset for iSeries (WDT400) that is included in the software package for language compilers. Code/400 (Cooperative Development Environment) is a Windows-based toolset that effectively replaces the green-screen tools by providing the user with more functionality. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. evfwlx40.exe. is used by IBM Code/400, If you shut down evfwlx40.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
