The file elogsvc.exe, known as Norman eLogger Service, belongs to software Norman Program Manager by Norman ASA. The Norman Program Manager is a component of software Norman Security Suite that facilitates the installation of software updates. It pops up when a restart is necessary to complete or continue installation of updates. Norman Security suite is an easy to use and deploy Internet security that provides users with protection against virus and ensures protection while online. This application has a redesigned antimalware engine that offers improved protection by identifying, blocking, and cleaning all threats. It incorporates an intelligent personal firewall that protects the system against threats, but recognizes trusted sources without disrupting the user's online activities, and utilizes a cloud-based protection that provides real-time information to identify threats and prevent access to malicious sites. Norman Security suite has other important features that include plug and play parental controls that ensure the safety of children while using the Internet, built-in rootkit protection, a smaller and more efficient system footprint, and automatically updated modules that run in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. elogsvc.exe. is used by Norman Security Suite, If you shut down elogsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop elogsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Norman Security Suite, from your system.
