Known by the service name HP Enterprise Discovery Agent, the discusge.exe file is a type of an executable or EXE file, a part of the software product called HP OpenView Discovery Agent or HP Enterprise Discovery Agent x86 or version x86, and is developed by Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P., or simply known as Hewlett-Packard or HP. The discusge.exe file is not just a basic component of the program, but also an essential process as it is digitally signed from Hewlett-Packard Company - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2. To add that, discusge.exe is a file that is compatible with all or most versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME, and is advisable to keep the file running in the background, unless it causes problems that affect the system performance.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. discusge.exe. is used by HP OpenView Discovery Agent or HP Enterprise Discovery Agent, If you shut down discusge.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
