The cservice.exe process is an executable component file of the InterSystems Cache software, which is a cross platform program classified as a developer tool that was designed by InterSystems as an advanced object database application for accommodating large volumes of simultaneous database queries and multiple transactional database processing tasks, even with minimal hardware requirements. The InterSystems Cache software can also allow developers to create faster SQL database functionalities that can be integrated into application development projects in C++, .NET, Java and XML among others, and for developing programs and associated databases that require minimal maintenance procedures. The cservice.exe process is specifically deployed into Windows-based systems by the InterSystems Cache software to assist in the integration of these functionalities, and to run as a background process for aiding in the implementation of the options embedded in the InterSystems Cache software while in use. The cservice.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the InterSystems Cache software edition that was developed for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows.
