The crack.exe file process is associated with HttpWatch Basic, a web browser plug-in created by Simtec Limited. HttpWatch Basic is used on Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, to display any information collected about web sites, and a user can save data as a log file with the option to view it through HTTP Studio. This program is compatible with computers that are installed with certain Microsoft Windows operating systems, which are Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8, and web browsers Internet Explorer of at least version 6.0 and Mozilla Firefox 2.0 to 17.0 versions. Since the file crack.exe is a component of the program, this module needs to remain stored in its folder location, usually in C:\Program Files or C:\Documents and Setting. Without this file running, the HttpWatch Basic software may not work properly or completely. It is also possible that other modules may call for this particular file in order to execute their own tasks or functions.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. crack.exe. is used by HttpWatch Basic, If you shut down crack.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop crack.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HttpWatch Basic, from your system.

Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
