The Cyberlink Media Library Service applet is integrated into CD and DVD authoring applications from Cyberlink Co., and the clmlserver.exe process is the executable file that initializes this applet upon user access to certainf unctionalities available in the associated Cyberlink software. The clmlserver.exe process, or the Cyberlink Media Library Service applet, is integrated with a set of functionalities used by the associated Cyberlink applications to aid users in organizing and managing their digital audio and video content. This means the features embedded in the clmlserver.exe process or the Cyberlink Media Library Service applet can allow users of associated Cyberlink software products to select files and folders that contain their audio and video content for inclusion in media libraries which they can generate and manage through these Cyberlink programs. Most Cyberlink programs are implemented with support for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows, which means the clmlserver.exe file and the Cyberlink Media Library Service applet are also embedded with Windows compatibility support.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. clmlserver.exe. is used by Cyberlink Media Library Service, If you shut down clmlserver.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop clmlserver.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Cyberlink Media Library Service, from your system.
