The CheckIt Diagnostics software was developed by Smith Micro Software with a set of features for checking hardware components of Windows-based computers to identify possible errors, scanning the system and the Windows System Registry to pinpoint potential system stability issues and data security problems, and for repairing these hardware and software errors. The checkit86.dll file is specifically deployed as the CheckIt Version 86 Extension library, which is referenced by the CheckIt Diagnostics application whenever this program is loaded unto the system by the user. The checkit86.dll file is placed in the system upon the installation of the CheckIt Diagnostics software.
