This file is responsible for the capability of the Windows operating system to send and receive alerts from a server to a client or end user's computer. The said feature of the operating system is called the Alerter Service and it runs along with the other functions such as the ServiceMain and SvchostPushServiceGlobals. This module can be located inside the system32 subfolder of the Windows folder inside the local directory and eats up 17KB of disc space approximately. Though a part of the operating system, this is not a core file, and doesn't pull up any visible window.
