The actdtcr.dll is a process used by Radialpoint Security Services. The process actdtcr.dll is programmed and developed by the Radialpoint Company. The Radialpoint Security Services program is an antivirus solution that comes packaged with useful features for businesses and home users alike. Radialpoint Security Services’ main feature is that it runs through a network’s broadband or internet connection. However, not all providers can offer this service. Radialpoint Security Services can provide computer users spyware, virus and internet fraud protection, a firewall, parental controls, backup and restoration of data, web privacy and pop-up controls and a PC optimizer. Once the Radialpoint Security Service is functioning in a desktop or network, the security software will not be power and memory hungry since the security software runs from the user’s broadband or internet connection. One main downside though, is that once the user’s internet connection is down, the security service will stop. The actdtcr.dll is present only in the Windows platform but the security service is available for all operating systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. actdtcr.dll. is used by Radialpoint Security Services, If you shut down actdtcr.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop actdtcr.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Radialpoint Security Services, from your system.
