The confbrw.dll file has been reported by many users as a malicious program classified by their system security tools as a component or variant of a family of Trojans known to infect unprotected Windows-based systems with outdated OS security certificates and unencrypted TCP/IP network ports. These users claim that the confbrw.dll file is activated during system startup by one of its executable component files, which is said to create and inject keys and entries into the unsecured Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation in the unprotected computer, in order for the system to allow the confbrw.dll malware and its other components to be activated during system startup and operate as a hidden background process during system runtime. These users also state that the confbrw.dll malware is capable of exploiting unencrypted TCP/IP network ports that it finds in the unprotected system, in order to use these system vulnerabilities to initiate contact with remote servers that are managed by the authors of the confbrw.dll malware. Upon establishing daa transmission and communication lines with these remote servers, the confbrw.dll malware is said to download more malicious programs unto the infected system and wait for further instructions or directives from these remote servers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. confbrw.dll. is used by Trojan, If you shut down confbrw.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop confbrw.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan, from your system.
