Hi Calabro,
Main cause for this error is KB3064209 Intel CPU microcode update. his was proven to work on Gigabyte GB-BXi3-4010 motherboards with Intel i3 4010U CPU installed, but we assume that it should work with any other motherboard with Intel CPU. You can try the below methods to solve this issue: Method 1: Tweak the settings KB3064209 updates the file C:\Windows\system32\ mcupdate_genuineintel.dll, and in order to install Windows 10 you need to delete this file. To do so, follow these steps: You will use X: as USB drive, C: as the operating system drive letter and User as the user profile name. When applying this solution, make sure that you change these to match your settings.
Unplugging all USB devices fixes this issue, so you might want to try unplugging any USB device that you have connected, such as your printer, phone, external hard drive etc. If you can try using PS/2 keyboard and mouse instead of USB keyboard and mouse. I hope this helps. Regards, Lokesh |
It is a "Acer Predator G3600"
Processor: Intel Core (TM) i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
MEMORY (RAM): 8.00 GB
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
I installed Windows 10 Pro and I kept it for about six months, until it broke the HDD SATA 500GB.
At home I had a HDD SATA 250GB where I installed windows 7 and then redo the upgrade to Windows 10, and when I tried to install win 10 at the end of the installation, when he makes the first reboot happens what I described in the request ' help!
thank you
