The tskmgr.exe process is also known as the Generic Host Process for Win32 Services and it belongs to the software svshost.exe. It is owned by the Microsoft Corporation. There is minimal information accumulated about the process. The process is located within the Windows folder, but it is not a Windows core file. The process is not visible. It is not a Windows system file. The application starts at the Windows startup. The process contains a security rating of 81% dangerous, which makes it highly risky according to the users; it is generally more prudent if the user performs this process under careful conditions within his or her PC system; in order to reduce any potential risks to the user’s computer system, the user needs to be aware of the possibilities that this process may have some possible threats, such as virus, spyware, worm, and any other potential threats (which makes this process vulnerable to virus writers) that needs to be vigilant of, as well taking immediate measures which can be utilized whenever this program is being run in order to guarantee the security and stability for the user’s PC system.
