Known by the name CCProxy Microsoft MFC Application, the svchosts.exe file is an instance of Windows process, and a component of the software CCProxy Application or Generic Host Process for Win32 Services software, which is developed by Microsoft Corporation. As a background process, svchost.com runs on the system once the program that bundles it is installed on a Windows computer. This process is related to the Generic Service Host, which is a process that serves as a “host” for other modules or applications associated with Internet connectivity. Regardless of its primary function, the svchosts.exe file is recommended to continue running in the background, or else it will disable not only its assigned task, but maybe stop or affect the entire program, which is CCProxy Application or Generic Host Process for Win32 Services. Connecting to the Internet or browsing a web page may not function as expected if the file svchosts.exe is deleted or stopped.
