Trend Micro Proxy is the other name to the file tmproxy.exe. This file belongs to the software called Trend Micro Network Security Components. The program secures the Personal Computer of the user for any malicious software which would destroy the data of the PC. Sometime these malicious program would steal the identity of the user and even the cash by cracking through the information of the user including his credit card or debit card. The file can be usually found in the C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security and has the known file size of 262,215 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). However, the file size may vary when used in different versions of Operating System (OS). Such Operating Systems are Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The file does not belong to the Windows Core file. The file tmproxy.exe has the ability to connect to the Local Area Network (LAN) and even to the Internet using the open Ports. The user may still remove the file by removing the entire program in which the file is attached when installed.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tmproxy.exe. is used by Trend Micro, If you shut down tmproxy.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tmproxy.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trend Micro, from your system.
