Creative Technology has created software THXAudio to provide advanced multimedia entertainment to users. Thxaudio.exe is the process file that gives the audio in Creative devices a true to life feature.THX is a standard used for audio and visual reproduction done for movie theatres, screening rooms, home theatres, computer speakers, gaming consoles and car audio systems. It is basically a system that ensures quality assurance where audio will sound as near as possible to the listener or viewer. However, THX requires certain acoustic and technical conditions in order to achieve the desired effect. The required conditions for THX include a floating floor, baffled and acoustically treated walls, no parallel walls, a perforated screen and NC30 rating. The thxaudio.exe enables Creative devices to display THX effect. Such devices include Sound Blaster Audigy 2, the first certified THX computer audio card, and TruStudio ProTM suite which is incorporated in the new version of M1425 and T1125 Gigabyte notebooks.
