The tdrpman.sys file is a volume filter driver file for the software Acronis Try&Decide and Recovery Points. It is developed by Acronis, Inc., a company that specializes in software for recovery and backup. Try&Decide is associated with the backup program TrueImage and is part of its processes. Try&Decide is a feature where users can first try out applications or tweak the system and then later accept or reject the changes. Meanwhile, Recovery Points are virtual conditions of the user’s machine at a given date and time. The system may be reverted to this point. The tdrpman.sys file is found in C:\Windows\System32\drivers, with 50% of its occurrences in the size 368,480 bytes. It is not considered a system file for Windows and can either be launched by the associated applications, or discontinued from the Services folder of Control Panel by the user. It is digitally signed by Acronis, Inc. through Verisign.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tdrpman.sys. is used by Acronis TrueImage Try&Decide Module and Acronis TrueImage Recovery Points Module, If you shut down tdrpman.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tdrpman.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Acronis TrueImage Try&Decide Module and Acronis TrueImage Recovery Points Module, from your system.
