What is  sr_service.exe

The sr_service.exe file is called SecureClient Service, also Check Point VPN-1 SecuRemote, VPN-1 SecureClient NGX of version R60 HFA2, which is a type of Windows process, and a component of the software VPN-1 SecuRemote, as well as in VPN-1 SecureClient, and Check Point VPN-1, products created by Check Point Software Technologies. These programs are a type of network software, particularly related to VPN, which means virtual private network. They are developed to support standard VPN protocols and algorithms for compatibility with the security policies of both VPN-1 and Firewall-1. They also support fixed IP addressed for Internet Service Provider (ISP) services, including cable modem, dial-up and Digital Subscriber Lines, or DSLs. Each of these software products is used to protect business communications on both wireless and traditional local area networks, or LANs. Because it is one of the essential components, the sr_service.exe file must be kept running on the system, and to allow the assigned tasks enabled during the launch of the program that houses it.
