What is  qcwlicon.exe

The application ThinkAdvantage Access Connection uses the file qcwlicon.exe. The application is installed in ThinkPad laptops with built-in wireless cards. The file qcwlicon.exe displays a System Tray icon by which the user can access ThinkAdvantage Access Connections. ThinkPad laptops are distributed by IBM and it has a wireless capability that is designed to make the signal stronger for the users. Qcwlicon.exe can be seen in the System Tray. Upon initialization, the EXE file will launch the ThinkAdvantage Access Connections application. When the application begins to run in the system, the EXE file allows the user to view the connection status of the wireless network of the computer. The EXE file prompts the user several information such as the strength of the connection, the speed of the connection and how many bytes does the computer send and receive. Qcwlicon.exe activates the functionalities of the application which help the user in managing the network connection of his or her computer.
