The pmspeed.exe file is called as PMSpeed MFC Application, one of the components of Presto! PageManager, which is a product developed by NewSoft Technology Corporation. Presto! PageManager, in versions 8.15.01 SE, 9.03 SE, and 9.00.11 SE, is a type of software that lets a user see the file organization structure in a complete form, starting from the entire photo to the least of the details, as well as create or read PDF document files even without the use of the right application that opens PDFs or convert files. Aside from those, this software also enables a user to organize files and monitor incoming documents. Presto! PageManager is made compatible with Windows, and spport a wide range of file formats of documents (DOC, DOCX, DOCM, TXT, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PDF, XPS, XPS, etc.), photos (BMP, JPEG, GIF, BMP, etc.), videos (MPG, MPEG, and AVI) and audios (MP3, AVI, WMV, WAV, and MIDI). A process usually a part of an installed application such as Presto! PageManager, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
