PowerDVD RC Service is the other name of the file pdvdserv.exe. The file literally belongs to the software called PowerDVD. The software was owned and developed by the Cyberlink Company. The program is launched when playing a DVD format videos. The file can by usually located in the C:\Program Files\Cyberlink\PowerDVD. The usual size of the file is 32,768 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). But the file size may vary when used in different version of Operating System such as the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The program starts during the Windows start up and has the registry key of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. If there are problems with the file, the user may have the option to remove the file by removing the entire program in which the file is installed with. This can be done by the use of the Add/Remove Program Utility located in the Control Panel of Windows Operating System.
