What is  okclient.exe

A security company developed a file called okclient.exe that is also known as Cisco Security Agent (CSA) Component developed by Cisco Systems that enables the user to be protected against threats to the desktop, server and Point-of-Service (POS) computing systems. The process provides various features including: targeted attacks preventive protection; enforcement of the regulatory policy compliance; protection of the retail point of service (POS) terminals, as well as servers and desktops; optimization of Wi-Fi bandwidth; identifying and quarantine rootkits ability; personal firewall; prevention of industry-leading host intrusion; protection on day-zero attack; and the critical client-server applications and transactions can be ensured. The process is supported by Windows Embedded for Point of Service, Windows 2003 (Standard, Enterprise, Web, or Small Business Editions), Windows 2000 Server and Enterprise Server, Solaris 8 SPARC architecture (64-bit kernel), Solaris 9 SPARC architecture (64-bit Kernel), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 ES and AS, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 ES and AS.

How can I stop okclient.exe and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. okclient.exe. is used by Cisco, If you shut down okclient.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop okclient.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Cisco, from your system.
