What is  nlnotes.exe

The file nlnotes.exe is an executable file from the IBM Lotus Notes software. What users mostly experienced with the file is that it is launched almost simultaneously with another Lotus Notes application, Notes. Users generally see these two applications running in Task Manager at the same time. Based on reviews and users’ knowledge of the two files, Notes initializes the process and the executable file nlnotes.exe, completes the initialization process. In other words, Notes will start Lotus Note but it is the file nlnotes.exe that will enable users to use the application. The Lotus Notes process will display the username/password box, after which, users can access the actual application already. C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\nlnotes.exe is the default disk location of the file. Average size on disk is 1,676,680 bytes. Users have not encountered any harmful file, i.e. virus that can be linked to the nlnotes.exe file. What users mostly experienced is an error message that says “missing file” or “file cannot be found” or “application failed to launch.” In most instances, it was a conflict between the OS and the file’s modules.
